Overview
Download links are sent by email with time-limited secure tokens. You can usually download your files multiple times within that window — useful if you use several devices or need to re-download after a phone upgrade.
How it works
- Each purchase email contains one or more secure links to your files.
- Links remain valid for a limited period after the order is placed — enough time to download and save your images properly.
- You may click the link repeatedly and download again while it is still active.
- There is no separate "download limit" on clicks within the valid period, but the link itself will eventually expire for security.
- After expiry, contact the photographer with your order number to request a fresh link — availability may depend on how long ago you ordered.
Common issues / Troubleshooting
- Link says expired — the secure token has passed its validity period; request a new link from the photographer.
- Downloaded but cannot find file — search your Downloads folder or phone gallery; re-download while the link still works.
- Shared link stopped working — links are personal to your order; family members should receive copies of the saved files, not the email link.
Tips
- Save files promptly — copy JPEGs to at least two locations (for example, computer plus cloud backup).
- Do not treat the email link as permanent storage — it is a delivery mechanism, not an archive.
- Rename files clearly (child name, year, pose) so they are easy to find years later.
Tip: Download and back up your images as soon as you receive the email — do not wait until the secure link expires.
