Overview
A proofcard is a printed card sent home from school showing a preview of your child's school photographs. It is your key to viewing the full set of images online and placing an order. The access code printed on the card is your reference number — it uniquely identifies your child's photo session.
How it works
- After photo day, the photographer processes images and produces proofcards for distribution via the school.
- Each card shows one or more small preview images, often with a watermark to protect the photographs.
- The card includes the ordering website address, your child's access code, and sometimes a password or QR code.
- Enter the access code on the website to unlock your child's full gallery and shop.
- The code may appear near a barcode, under a heading such as "Login code" or "Unique ref", or beside a QR code.
Common issues / Troubleshooting
- Cannot find the code — look on both sides of the card; it is usually printed in a prominent box or near the barcode.
- Multiple children — each child receives their own proofcard with a separate access code. You will need each code to order for each child.
- Card looks different from a sibling's — layouts vary by school and photographer, but every card should include a website and access code.
Tips
- Photograph or write down your access code in case the card is mislaid before you order.
- Do not share your access code publicly — it allows anyone with the code to view your child's school photos.
- The preview on the card is low resolution; full-quality images are only available after you log in online.
Tip: Your access code is your reference number. If the school or photographer asks for your "reference" or "login code", provide the code from the proofcard.
